Our reclaimed rustic teak furniture is handmade using only the finest material and constructed for your home, indoors or outdoors. Each piece is constructed using recycled Burmese teak timbers. Why Burmese teakwood, and not plantation teakwood? Burmese teak is a better quality wood, first it’s much higher in natural oil, which resist rot better, is far denser to prevents parasites and it’s appearance is richer due to superior grain patterns. Resulting in a piece of furniture that will maintain it’s rustic appearance for many years to come. Most of the teak wood used in every piece is recycled, the initial use were rice cart, farm houses, posts, plows, wagon wheels and many other farm applications. So the teakwood has already been exposed to the harsh elements for over 50 years. Furthermore, if it has endured harsh farm life, not to mention the ravages of nature, it will certainly hold up in a home or commercial setting, whether indoors or outdoors.
